The Road To Serendipity…

So yesterday on our trek home we wanted to stop off in Ipoh (no it isn’t on the way home at all but we like wandering the tarmac… :)). And we’ve been meaning to revisit this pretty fab restaurant/eclectically charming boutique hotel (run by beautiful friendly folk) housed in a converted colonial house, called Indulgence (I knowww… Ipohh?? Yes indeedy!!) But somewhere in the environs of Outer Lumut, Spouse thought to call and check – and sure enough! – the restaurant is closed Mondays and Tuesdays 😦

And one of the reasons I love roadtrips is you never know what you might serendipitously come across. Navigating the hinterlands of quasi-kampung Outer Lumut we found this…

… and Spouse just couldn’t resist… *Over half a century old so they must be doing something right* And they were. Creamy fresh coconut milk and sweet golden musky Melaka sugar just soaking all that Ice Ice Baby ♥ Potent! Mister Cendol ♥ Looking good in the 21st Century 🙂 xox
