The Mexican…

… in homage to Spouse’s Mexican moniker, him missing his onetime home, and in simpatico with the recent World Cup ousting πŸ™‚ (Ar-gen-ti-na!) … we had date night last night at Tabasco Taqueria at The Ah Pek Coffee Shop… yeah we’re posh like that πŸ™‚ Seriously though, how much more global kampung can you get than a tacos stall next to a chicken rice stall in a coffee shop named Ah Pek??? Serving real Mexican grub with the daintiest freshly made corn tortillas by Gisel who hails from – naturally – Tabasco, Meh-hee-co. And all of 2 days opened πŸ™‚

Seriously delightfully more-ish! My favourites were the vegetarian and the chicken mole. And those sauces! Pick either the green jalapeno or the red chipotle salsas ( there is also a terrifyingly Hawwwwtt Habanero for those who dare… ) OR go banderas (red, green and white) and have both.

So crack open the corona and arriba abajo al centro para adentro! xox
